Wael’s Craft Line: Breathing New Life into Discarded Materials
In addition to his large-scale paintings and sculptures, Wael Kamel Hamadeh channels his artistic sensibility into a distinctive line of handcrafted works made from recycled wood and found materials. These smaller, intimate pieces showcase his deep respect for nature and his belief in giving forgotten objects a second life. Drawing inspiration from traditional forms and personal memory, he transforms driftwood, rusted metal, and aged fragments into poetic compositions that echo stories of the past while speaking to the present. Each creation is a blend of intuition and intention — not merely decorative, but a dialogue between heritage and sustainability. This craft line reflects Hamadeh’s ongoing exploration of texture, form, and function, offering a more tactile and accessible expression of his vision while remaining rooted in cultural consciousness and environmental care.
